En arbetsgrupp funderar på tillgången till vård och de enhetliga grunderna för vård
Social- och hälsovårdsministeriet har tillsatt en arbetsgrupp för att förnya och enhetliggöra väntetiderna för tillgången till vård och grunderna för vård. Arbetsgruppens uppgift är att uppdatera de nationella grunderna för icke-brådskande vård som tagits i bruk år 2005. Genom uppdateringen strävar man efter att ingripa i utmaningarna med att få icke-brådskande vård, så som långa väntetider, regionala skillnader och verksamhetens effekt.
Samtidigt gör arbetsgruppen upp de nationella grunderna och väntetiderna för brådskande vård. Uppgörandet av grunderna för den icke-brådskande och den brådskande vården gäller även mun- och tandvården. Det är viktigt att alla finländare får icke-brådskande och brådskande vård på enhetliga grunder oavsett var de bor. Man vill utveckla uppföljningen och bedömningen av hälsovårdens kvalitet på riksnivå. När vårdens kvalitet bedöms bör man beakta tjänstebehovet, tillgången till tjänsten samt dess nåbarhet, kvalitet, inverkan och kostnadseffektivitetDessutom gör arbetsgruppen ett förslag på enhetliga medicinska grunder enligt vilka åldringar vid behov kan ges långvarig institutionsvård.
Arbetsgruppens medlemmar representerar bland annat statsförvaltningen, forskningsinstitut, kommuner och social- och hälsovårdens yrkesmänniskor. Dessutom kommer arbetsgruppen att höra intressentgrupper och experter som är viktiga för arbetet. Ordförande är direktör Liisa-Maria Voipio-Pulkki från social- och hälsovårdsministeriet. Arbetsgruppens mandatperiod varar till utgången av år 2016.
