Delegationen för social- och hälsovården, som leds av omsorgsminister Paula Risikko, har börjat samla ihop olika parters åsikter om det nationella utvecklingsprogrammet för social- och hälsovården (2008-2011) som upprättas under hösten. Programmet innehåller de mål och åtgärder som eftersträvas inom social- och hälsovården under de närmaste fyra åren.
”Inom ramen för det nationella utvecklingsprogrammet vill man med konkreta åtgärder utveckla social- och hälsovården samt stöda målen för kommun- och servicestrukturreformen”, sade minister Risikko vid ett diskussionsmöte i Helsingfors tisdagen den 2 oktober.
Vid mötet hörde ministern ledande personer inom social- och hälsovårdssektorn från Nyland, Kymmenedalen och Södra Karelen. Målet var att klarlägga åsikterna om vilka programmets åtgärder och målsättningar borde vara. Statsrådet godkänner det slutliga programmet i november.
Ett mål är att minska utslagningen
Med utvecklingsprogrammet vill man minska utslagning, förbättra hälsa och välmående och göra hälsoskillnaderna mindre. Avsikten är också att förbättra tjänsternas kvalitet, tillgänglighet och effektivitet.
”Förebyggande åtgärder och tidig intervention är effektiva sätt att kontrollera tjänsternas ökning och kostnader. Genom att se till att personalen är kompetent och tillräcklig kan vi trygga fungerande tjänster också i fortsättningen”, poängterade minister Risikko.
Medborgarna har en chans att påverka innehållet i utvecklingsprogrammet på diskussionsforumet Dinasikt.fi. Diskussionen om hur social- och hälsovården skall utvecklas startade i början av september och håller på till 8 oktober. http://www.dinasikt.fi/
