Tusby kommun behöver hjälp med eftervården
Omsorgsminister Paula Risikko fick onsdagen den 14 november ta emot en grov uppskattning om hurdan hjälp Tusby kommun behöver för eftervården av Jokela-fallet. Enligt kommunens beräkningar behöver omkring 50 procent av eleverna, lärarna och elevernas föräldrar terapi.
Tusby kommun behöver hjälp med att organisera det psykosociala stödet, eftersom de egna resurserna inte räcker till. En del av terapitjänsterna måste köpas.
De beräkningar som gavs till social- och hälsovårdsministeriet har gjorts upp för fyra år och de behandlas tillsammans med de andra ministerierna. Förhandlingarna om kostnaderna för projektet förs med finansministeriet.
Social- och hälsovårdsministeriet samarbetar med utbildningsmyndigheterna för att organisera eftervården. Målet är att förstärka elevvården samt skol- och hälsovården. Polismyndigheterna och socialvården samarbetar också.
Social- och hälsovårdsministeriet gör för tillfället upp planer för att förstärka det förebyggande arbetet. Ministeriet förbereder dessutom ett expertmöte som skall fokusera på illamåendet bland barn och unga.
