En ny resultatgrupp inrättas för att stärka digitaliseringen av social- och hälsovården
En ny resultatgrupp har inrättats vid social- och hälsovårdsministeriet. Gruppen koncentrerar sig på digitaliseringen av och informationshanteringen inom social- och hälsovården. På det sättet vill man stärka ett systematiskt genomförande av digitaliseringen, säkerställa informationssystemtjänsternas funktionalitet på riksnivå och stödja genomförandet av IKT-förändringen i social- och hälsovårds- och landskapsreformen.
Den nya resultatgruppen har till uppgift att styra och utveckla digitaliseringen och informationshanteringen inom social- och hälsovården. Gruppen behandlar även frågor som gäller nationella och regionala informationssystemtjänster inom social- och hälsovården samt deras hantering, informationsförvaltning, dataskydd och datasäkerhet.
”Social- och hälsovård berör alla människor på något sätt och de flesta människor behöver social- och hälsotjänster. Dessa tjänster används så ofta och är så vardagliga att genom digitalisering kan mycket nytta uppnås för alla: tjänsteanvändarna och deras anhöriga, tjänsteproducenterna och tjänsteanordnarna, dvs. de som betalar”, konstaterar Minna Saario som valts till direktör för den nya resultatgruppen.
Social- och hälsovården har varit föregångare i att utveckla och införa elektroniska tjänster och lyckats med att utnyttja digitaliseringen. Kanta-tjänsten och det elektroniska receptet är de mest använda elektroniska tjänsterna i Finland, och deras innehåll kommer att utvidgas ytterligare särskilt när det gäller användningen av klienternas egna uppgifter (tjänsten Mina Kanta-sidor). Social- och hälsovårdssystemet som reformeras behöver ännu bättre och nya elektroniska tjänster som kan erbjudas klienter och en effektivare digitalisering av servicesystemet.
”Den största förändringen har dock skett och håller på att ske i fråga om sättet att använda tjänsterna och rollen för de yrkesutbildade personerna inom tjänsterna. Det går att finna allt fler lösningar genom vilka människors funktionsförmåga och hälsa kan stödas genom elektroniska tjänster och digitala verktyg, säger Saario. Elektroniska tjänster som stöder egenvård, självvård och förmågan att klara sig i vardagen utvecklas i flera pågående projekt (bl.a. ODA och projektet Virtuella sjukhuset). Vissa av tjänsterna är redan i bruk till exempel till stöd för symtomskattning och smärthantering.
Den nya resultatgruppen vid social- och hälsovårdsministeriet har till uppgift att förverkliga dessa mål i samarbete med social- och hälsovården, offentlig förvaltning, aktörer inom IT- och innovationsföretag och särskilt klienter och medborgare.
