Mielenterveyslain mukaista tahdosta riippumatonta hoitoa koskevien lomakkeiden kaavoista ja potilaan itsemääräämisoikeuden rajoittamisen valvonnasta annettuun sosiaali- ja terveysministeriön asetukseen lisätään päätöslomake psyykkisen sairauden lääkehoidosta sekä päivitetään liitteiden 1-5 ja 7 tekstejä useista säädösmuutoksista johtuen.

Työryhmän tehtävänä on tehdä ehdotus apteekkitalouden kokonaisuudistuksesta ja apteekkisääntelyn uudistamisesta. Uudistukset voidaan toteuttaa vaiheittain. Hallitusohjelman mukaisesti apteekkisääntelyä ja apteekkitaloutta tulee uudistaa vastuullisesti ja varmistaen laadukkaat ja turvalliset maanlaajuiset apteekkipalvelut Suomessa.

Hallituksen esityksessä muutetaan terveydenhuollon ja sosiaalihuollon ammattihenkilölakeja, jotta lainsäädäntö mahdollistaisi Petteri Orpon hallitusohjelman mukaisesti kansainvälisen avun vastaanottamisen ja antamisen sosiaali- ja terveydenhuollossa. Lisäksi toteutetaan tarvittavat tekniset muutokset valtion aluehallinnon uudistuksesta johtuen.

Esityksellä toteutettaisiin Kanta-lääkityslistan 3. vaiheen asiakokonaisuuksia. Reseptikeskuksen tietosisältöön ehdotetaan lisättäväksi eräät lääkehoitoon liittyvät merkinnät. Sosiaalihuollon palveluantajien tiedonsaantioikeutta lääkityslistaan laajennettaisiin ja säädettäisiin liittymisvelvollisuudesta reseptikeskukseen.
