  8. 13.12.2017 | The Ministry of Social Affairs and Health (STM) has granted a separate appropriation of EUR 80,000 to the Finnish Medical Society Duodecim, to be used for drawing up a Current Care Guideline on suicide prevention for healthcare professionals. Creating a new guideline is always labour-intensive, and it is estimated that the work will take two years. The guideline may be completed in summer 2019, after which it would gradually be put into practice.
