17.10.2019 | Om Storbritannien lämnar EU (brexit) utan utträdesavtal, betalas folkpension till de folkpensionstagare som är bosatta i Storbritannien under en period på ett år efter utträdet. Denna s.k. skyddstid på ett år är lika lång som för de folkpensionstagare som flyttar till andra länder utanför EU.

7.1.2021 | Statsrådet beslutade den 7 januari att inreserestriktionerna fortsätter fram till den 9 februari 2021. Coronaepidemin fortsätter att tillta tydligt världen över, och i de flesta länder ökar antalet smittfall kraftigare än i Finland. Det är således inte motiverat att lätta på begränsningarna innan de kompenserande åtgärder som är under beredning finns att tillgå i tillräcklig utsträckning.

17.10.2019 | If the UK withdraws from the EU (Brexit) without an agreement, the recipients of Finnish national pension residing in the UK will receive national pension for a period of one year after the withdrawal. This so-called protection period of one year is the same as for national pension recipients moving to any country outside the EU.

7.1.2021 | On 7 January, the Government decided to extend the restrictions on entry into the country until 9 February 2021. The COVID-19 epidemic is still clearly growing globally, and the number of infections is increasing in most countries more sharply than in Finland. It is therefore not justified to ease the restrictions until the new health security measures under preparation have been made sufficiently available.
