24.2.2022 | The Government has on repealed section 3, subsection 3 and sections 4 and 6 of the decree (1223/2021) that restricts the activities of food and beverage service businesses due to the COVID-19 epidemic. This means that the restrictions on the opening and alcohol serving hours as well as restrictions on the number of customers and customer seats in restaurants will be lifted.

In addition, the restrictions on the use of the COVID-19 passport will continue until the end of February.

3.3.2022 | It is recommended that everyone aged 18 years or over take a third vaccine dose. Although the restrictions imposed due to COVID-19 have been eased, it is still important for people to stay at home when ill, to wear a mask in public indoor spaces and to practise good hand hygiene.

11.2.2022 | Statsrådet har ändrat den förordning som begränsar förplägnadsrörelsers verksamhet med anledning av coronaepidemin. Alla restauranger får längre serverings- och öppettider. Dessutom förlängs begränsningarna i användningen av coronapass till utgången av februari.

7.6.2020 | Under den senaste tiden har det pågått en livlig debatt om behovet att använda ansiktsskydd. Debatten har för det mesta byggt på kunskap och vetenskapliga bevis, men i vissa fall har informationen också använts selektivt och lett övertolkningar. Frågan har tyvärr inte heller i någon större grad diskuterats med hänsyn till det aktuella epidemiläget här hos oss eller i förhållande till de primära metoderna för att förhindra smitta.
