Ministers Mattila and Rehula will participate in the Norwegian state visit to Finland
Minister of Family Affairs and Social Services Juha Rehula and Norwegian Health Minister Bent Høie will, on 7 September in Helsinki, open a seminar organised in honour of the King and Queen of Norway. The themes for the seminar are Personalised Health (pHealth), eHealth and Nordic cooperation in these fields.
The seminar is part of King Harald V’s and Queen Sonja’s three-day state visit to Finland.
Minister of Social Affairs and Health Pirkko Mattila will open another seminar in Oulu on Thursday, 8 September, in connection with the visit of the King and Queen of Norway. The seminar in Oulu will deal with health promotion and citizen-driven, proactive health care.
The Norwegian visitors are also interested in the Finnish Kanta Services and its user’s experiences, and in the structural reform of healthcare and social welfare.
The Nordic countries have been cooperating on e-health since 2011. Together, the Nordic countries are a strong opinion-maker in the digitalisation of healthcare services and in the use of data resources, for example within the European Union, OECD and the World Health Organization WHO.
