European top experts meet in Finland to discuss work-related cancer
Work-related cancer is a Europe-wide problem, and the Roadmap on Carcinogens campaign is looking for common solutions. The campaign will bring a group of top experts in the field to Finland on 27–28 November for a conference that is part of the official programme of the Finnish Presidency of the Council of the EU.
The two-day conference will be opened by Minister of Social Affairs and Health Aino-Kaisa Pekonen. Conference attendees include Christa Sedlatschek, Executive Director of the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work, Björn Hansen, Executive Director of the European Chemicals Agency, and representatives of the European Commission.
