The package of essential items given to mothers of newborn infants now contains a booklet in Finnish and Swedish on family leave entitlements and how to use them. The booklet contains a gently humorous cartoon strip on the good effect paternity leave has on the families.
Families that don’t opt to take the maternity pack can get the booklet at child welfare clinics.
