Wille Rydman appointed to serve as Minister of Social Affairs and Health
On 20 February, the President of the Republic appointed Member of Parliament Wille Rydman, Master of Social Sciences, to serve as Minister of Social Affairs and Health. At the same time, the President released Kaisa Juuso from her duties as Minister of Social Affairs and Health and as a member of the Government at her request.
Following the presidential session, the government plenary session decided on changes to deputising arrangements and the composition of ministerial working groups. The division of duties between the ministers will remain unchanged.
Rydman has already previously taken his oath of office. He served as Minister of Economic Affairs in Prime Minister Petteri Orpo’s Government in 2023–2025.
