Project status

Goals and results

Valtioneuvoston tasa-arvopoliittisessa selonteossa linjataan pitkän ajan kansalliset tasa-arvopolitiikan tavoitteet. Tavoitteena on, että selonteko ja sen valmistumisen jälkeen kehitettävä, valtion eri hallinnonalat kattava sukupuolten tasa-arvon seurantajärjestelmä muodostavat yhtenäisen kokonaisuuden.

Selonteon valmistelusta vastaa sosiaali- ja terveysministeriö ja sen valmisteluun osallistuvat oikeusministeriö, opetus- ja kulttuuriministeriö, työ- ja elinkeinoministeriö sekä ulkoministeriö. Sosiaali- ja terveysministeriö on asettanut virkatyöryhmän valmistelemaan selontekoa ja seurantajärjestelmää. Kansalaisyhteiskunnan, tutkijayhteisön ja sidosryhmien osallisuus varmistettiin kuulemis- ja lausuntokierroksilla. Sidosryhmillä on myös ollut mahdollisuus tehdä esityksiä selonteon sisällöiksi. Selontekoa käsitellään parhaillaan poliittisessa erityisavustajista koostuvassa ryhmässä, minkä jälkeen sitä tullaan käsittelemään poliittisessa valtiosihteeriryhmässä pohjoismaisen yhteistyön ja tasa-arvon ministeri Thomas Blomqvistin johdolla. Selonteon antamisesta päätetään valtioneuvoston yleisistunnossa.

Ensimmäinen lausuntokierros oli auki 18.12.2020-22.1.2021.

Kuulemistilaisuus järjestettiin 17.8.2021.

Selontekoluonnos siirtyi poliittiseen valmisteluun 29.3.2022.

Selontekoa käsiteltiin valtioneuvoston yleisistunnossa ja hallitus teki päätöksen selonteon antamisesta eduskunnalle 9.6.2022.

Eduskunta hyväksyi valiokunnan ehdotuksen kannanotoksi valtioneuvoston selonteon VNS 5/2022 vp johdosta 3.2.2023
