Perttula has worked in the administration and human resources units and groups of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health since 1995, first as a senior specialist and since 2007 as a senior ministerial advisor. She has also served as the first deputy of the director of the unit. Perttula has served as the Head of the Administrative Services Group in fixed term appointments for about one-and-a-half years. - secretarial services for the ministers
- legal issues.
Altogether 22 candidates applied for the post.
