Ministerial Communications Team: Ministry of Social Affairs and Health
The Ministerial Communications Team at the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health is responsible for planning, implementing and developing communications for the Ministry and its administrative branch. The team operates as part of the Government Communications Department.
Ministerial communications support the Ministry’s strategic objectives, the implementation of the Government Programme, and communications by the Ministry’s senior management, departments and administrative branch. The aim is to communicate the Ministry’s work, policies and decisions proactively, clearly, openly and effectively.
The Ministerial Communications Team independently manages the Ministry’s regular communications tasks. Communications activities requiring broader resourcing or joint Government communications are carried out in cooperation with other functions of the Government Communications Department.
The Ministerial Communications Team
- supports the Ministry’s senior management, departments and administrative branch in communications
- is responsible for current communications, media relations and content for the Ministry’s channels
- participates in the planning and coordination of joint Government communications
- develops communications at the Ministry and within its administrative branch as part of Government communications.
