Robin Lardot to continue as Director of the National Bureau of Investigation

On Friday 27 June, the Government appointed Robin Lardot, Master of Laws, as Director of the National Bureau of Investigation for the period from 1 October 2025 to 30 September 2030.
Lardot has served as Director of the National Bureau of Investigation since 2013. He has long and extensive experience in police administration. In addition to serving as Director and Deputy Director of the National Bureau of Investigation and holding other positions within the Bureau, he has gained experience in the National Police Board, the Ministry of the Interior, and various roles in the local police.
The Director of the National Bureau of Investigation directs, develops and supervises the operations of the National Bureau of Investigation. The Director is also responsible for ensuring that the conditions are in place for the agency and its staff to carry out their duties and for the agency to operate effectively. In addition, the Director’s duties include agreeing with the National Police Board on the agency’s performance targets and appropriations, and establishing the agency’s strategic guidelines. The Director is also responsible for cooperation with national and international stakeholders.
