  2. Equal Pay Programme of Prime Minister Petteri Orpo’s Government and central labour market organisations published - Ministry of Social Affairs and Health

    28.6.2024 | The Government and central labour market organisations have negotiated joint equal pay measures for the period 2024–2027. The aim of the Equal Pay Programme is to further reduce the gender pay gap. In addition to the measures set out in the Programme, there are other measures underway to reduce the pay gap.

  3. Minister of Social Affairs and Health Sarkkinen visits Tallinn to discuss the development of social security and the situation of Ukrainian refugees - Ministry of Social Affairs and Health

    28.6.2022 | Minister of Social Affairs and Health Hanna Sarkkinen will visit Tallinn on 29 June to meet with Estonia’s Minister of Social Protection Signe Riisalo. The topics to be discussed include the situation of Ukrainian refugees and the social security systems in both countries and developing them.

    30.12.2019 | Finland är ett glesbebyggt land med långa avstånd, men sjukdomsfall och olyckor kan inträffa var som helst. Därför är det viktigt att se till att hjälp finns tillgänglig i nödsituationer. I förordningen om arbetsfördelning och centralisering av vissa uppgifter inom den specialiserade sjukvården föreslås nu ändringar som ska säkerställa patientsäkerheten i hela Finland oberoende av patientens bostads- eller vistelseort. Samtidigt upprätthålls och stärks regionernas livskraft.
