The proposal was made by the Finnish Innovation Fund Sitra at the request of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health.

I propositionen föreslås det att rehabiliteringspenningen för unga ska slopas, att bestämmelserna om förfaranden i de förmånslagar som Folkpensionsanstalten (Fpa) tillämpar ska förenhetligas och att bestämmelsen om jämkning av arbetslöshetsförmåner ska förtydligas. Utlåtanden kan lämnas in fram till den 8 mars 2026.

  6. Total of 5,000 patients evacuated from Ukraine to EU countries - Ministry of Social Affairs and Health

    17.4.2026 | A total of 5,000 patients have been evacuated from Ukraine to EU Member States under the EU Civil Protection Mechanism. The 5,000th patient was evacuated to Finland. Finnish Minister of Social Security Sanni Grahn-Laasonen and EU Commissioner for Equality, Preparedness and Crisis Management Hadja Lahbib met on 16 April to discuss issues such as the evacuation of patients.

    22.10.2025 | The gender pay gap has narrowed slowly in Finland. A new research project will produce, for the first time, an extensive long-term economic analysis of the factors that have contributed to the changes in the pay gap.
