I fortsättningen ska vattkoppsvaccin erbjudas till alla vuxna som inte har det skydd mot vattkoppor som sjukdomen eller vaccinet ger. Till den här gruppen hör till exempel de som inleder sin beväringstjänst eller frivilliga militärtjänst. Vaccin mot bältros tas med i vaccinationsprogrammet för de som genomgått en organ- eller stamcellstransplantation eller som har hematologisk cancer.
