    3.10.2024 | Regeringen föreslår ändringar i lagstiftningen om jour och operativ verksamhet inom hälso- och sjukvården. Syftet med ändringarna är att varje välfärdsområde kan ha ett universitetssjukhus eller centralsjukhus som upprätthåller jour dygnet runt inom flera specialområden. Syftet med förslaget är att stärka det nationella servicenätet av sjukhus med specialiserad sjukvård och dygnetruntjour och att trygga specialkompetensen och tillgången till arbetskraft.

  2. In future more healthcare professionals would be allowed to administer vaccines – amendments to decrees circulated for comments - Ministry of Social Affairs and Health

    28.12.2023 | The aim is to accelerate and streamline the administration of vaccines and to alleviate the shortage of healthcare personnel. The amendments that are being circulated for comments would allow dentists, senior pharmacists, pharmacists, practical nurses and biomedical laboratory scientists to administer vaccines. The amendments would also make it easier to organise vaccination at pharmacies’ health service points.
