Coronavirus in Finland: Restrictive measures are lifted gradually

The state of emergency declared over the COVID-19 epidemic was lifted on 16 June. The population will be protected and the functioning of society safeguarded under legislation that applies in normal conditions.

The restrictions put in place to mitigate the COVID-19 epidemic are being phased out gradually and in a controlled manner. More information about the lifting of restrictions on Government's website:

In the coronavirus situation, the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health issues the official instructions concerning healthcare and social welfare to municipalities, hospital districts, Regional State Administrative Agencies and other relevant parties.
