COVID-19 disease in Finland
The restrictions imposed due to the COVID-19 epidemic have been lifted. Remember that you can prevent the spread of COVID-19 through your own actions. The health authorities will provide guidance on COVID-19 vaccinations, testing and other practices.
- Get vaccinated, as vaccines provide effective protection from the most severe forms of COVID-19.
- If you have symptoms, stay home until you are healthy.
- Take a COVID-19 test if needed.

The Ministry of Social Affairs and Health is responsible for the general planning, guidance and monitoring of the prevention of infectious diseases. Prevention of infectious diseases is part of healthcare and social welfare services.
